Key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring compliance with Method Statements
• Ensuring site disciplines are met, including appropriate PPE is worn
• Performing Toolbox talks 
• Briefing Site personnel and keeping records.
• Compliance with Health & Safety Plans, Quality and Environmental Plans.
• Carrying out weekly inspections
• Conversant with Programs and reporting procedures.

You will have demonstrated experience in the construction Industry preferably in Airports, Roads or Utilities sectors with a current CSCS Gold card, SSSTS (desirable) and be well versed in Industry best practice for Health and Safety standards. Computer skills with MS Package knowledge would be preferable. The role will also require excellent communication skills and the ability to make decisions and problem resolution.

We are looking for a motivated, hardworking individual to join us as a full time Project Administrator working alongside our Project Management team. 

The successful candidate should have experience in working in a similar role in the Construction Industry. To assist in all aspects of administrative support, coordinate & schedule work, maintain records and be familiar with purchasing plant, equipment, machinery, and materials, together with strong communication skills to handle enquires, liaise with clients, contractors, and subcontractors on a day-to-day basis.

MS Package knowledge including Word and Excel are required as a minimum. 

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the Projects Team in all aspects of administration 
• Assist in the Production of Work Package Plans 
• Issuing Purchase Orders, organising Plant and materials from Suppliers
• Maintaining employee and sub-contractor records, including recording hours worked, training and PPE records.

• You will have demonstrated experience in the construction industry and have the ability to prioritise a varied workload effectively.
• Have strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients, team members and contractors. 
• Have previous experience in delivering high quality administrative services within a construction role. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

This is an ideal position for a proactive Compliance Co-ordinator who is passionate and keen to progress their career.  You will be supporting the Project Management Team in managing all aspects of compliance within Gatwick Construction Limited and support further development and implementation of SHEQ policies and procedures.

The role will involve providing SHEQ support and guidance to the business and assisting the Project Management Team within the scope of Gatwick Construction Limited’s portfolio to promote health, safety, wellbeing, environmental and quality management, ensuring statutory compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Effective administrative of Gatwick Construction Limited’s ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 Integrated Management System (IMS), associated processes and documentation, with key focus on a risk-based-thinking approach.
• Ensure the SHEQ assurance of projects and contract standards are maintained on site. 
• Production of monthly / quarterly SHEQ reports.
• Analysis of complaints from all interested parties, open concerns / non-conformances from internal and external audits.
• Ensuring corrective, preventive and improvement actions are taken without undue delay to eliminate detected or potential non-conformities and their causes.
• Evaluation and analysis of suppliers and sub-contractors in accordance with the IMS Management Systems’ requirements; ensuring expectations are understood.
• Assisting with input into development of Gatwick Construction Limited’s IMS and other mechanisms for SHEQ delivery.
• Support in the production of key documents for example, Construction Phase Plans, Environmental management plans, Risk Assessments and Works Package Plans.
• Take responsibility for company accreditations, certification, and other schemes e.g., SafeContractor, CHAS, RISQS and ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. Support will be provided by the external Assurance Consultant.

About you: 

• You will be experience in a health and safety related role in construction ideally working for a subcontractor.
• Level 3 H&S Qualification such as NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety Certificate, or NEBOSH National Construction Certificate (Desirable).
• IOSH Managing Safely or CITB SMSTS as a minimum requirement.
• Excellent IT skills, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power-Point (Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Team’s cloud-based systems).
• Able to produce statistical data in Excel format utilising charts and graphs.
• Good understanding of managing health and safety and implementing control measures.
• You will be a proactive person who has a strong sense of work ethic and a desire to develop.  You will be confident and a people person, keen to make a difference.
